Do I have to register my cat?If you own a cat PRIOR to 1 July 1999 you DO NOT have to register the cat for life. It is a requirement however, that your cat is identified. You may choose a collar and ID tags or a microchip. However, if you sell or give away your cat after 1 July 1999 it must be microchipped and registered for life. |
