Use of Council's Parks and Gardens

Last modified: November 9, 2006 - 1:02 PM

Parkes Shire Council has over 80ha of parks and reserves. The parks are popularly used for events such as weddings, reunions, christenings and parties. Bookings are encouraged for large functions for the use of the parks.

Council encourages users of the parks/reserves to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • The area be left in a clean and tidy condition. Excess litter to be removed.
  • Vehicles not be driven across grassed areas.
  • Care be taken not to damage grassed areas, sprinklers, irrigation pipes and other property.
